Aubrey Jason Grant

Principle

Aubrey founded Emotive Architecture in 2011 to design spaces that inspire and strengthen communities. With 26+ years of experience leading large-scale projects from interiors to multi-family developments, he integrates vision, integrity, and technical expertise to create lasting, context-driven designs. His work spans over 1 million sq. ft. and $107 million in value. Aubrey serves on the DC Board of Architecture, Interior Design, and Landscape Architecture.

Chris Lowry

Technical Project Architect

Chris brings extensive experience in managing retail, multi-family, and transit-oriented projects, including Republic Square Shopping Center and Gateway at Millbrae Station. A Catholic University of America graduate, he’s known for his precision, problem-solving, and skillful coordination of complex, multidisciplinary teams.

Lead Business Development Architect

With over 18 years in design and real estate portfolio management, Tom has led projects from K-12 schools to $200M Federal lease consolidations for ICE. He specializes in mixed-use and government developments and has served on D.C.’s Historic Preservation Review Board, championing architectural legacy and thoughtful urban growth.

Staff Architect

Jenny has over 20 years of experience across commercial, healthcare, residential, and public projects. At Emotive since 2014, she leads projects from concept to completion, leveraging expertise in AutoCAD, Revit, and rendering to deliver high-quality, visually compelling designs.

Staff Architect

A University of Maryland graduate with a minor in Sustainability Studies, Sheena joined Emotive after internships with Gilday Renovations and GTM Architects. She brings strong customer service, teamwork, and design skills, contributing innovative and analytical thinking to client projects.

Staff Architect

Julian holds a Master of Architecture from Howard University and brings discipline, initiative, and a strong desire to learn. Originally from Jamaica, his volunteer work and internship with Emotive Architecture reflect his commitment to community and collaboration. Now back with Emotive Architecture, he supports the team with construction drawings and project documentation. His fluency in architectural software and ability to learn quickly make him a valuable asset to the Emotive Team.
