At the border of the Mount Vernon and Chinatown neighborhoods in NW Washington DC, three 1880’s buildings once collectively known as “Kings Row” were converted into 16 condominium units, now known as “The Anne”. We are proud to be a part of this project and we preserved a lot of the historical details, including stained-glass windows. Throughout the structure all the load bearing walls were kept, respecting the spirit of the building while meeting our clients desire to transform its use. The exterior respects its historic past while elevating the interior with a modern, present day elegance. The interior finishes in the units include quartz, tile, and luxury vinyl flooring to elevate the space's atmosphere. To maintain the historic structure and appearance, the exposed red brick walls are featured elements in the units that add personality to the rooms while defining the spatial layout.
